Samsung’s recent experience with its exploding phone battery has led to changes in the company’s testing procedures. Learning from the issues with Galaxy Note7, Samsung has reassessed every step of its smartphone manufacturing process including redesigning the quality assurance program.

The South Korean giant, the world’s largest maker of smartphones, television sets and memory chips, recently published a short one-minute video on YouTube to promote the extensive quality assurance testing practices it currently employs. Working hard to restore consumer trust the video states, “Our phones are extensively tested, retested, and then tested again,”. Espec environmental test chambers, supplied by Unitemp in the UK, are used as part of this rigorous testing process.
